Join Our Team as a Surgical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Assistant to join our team at Paradigm Oral Surgery. As a Surgical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our oral surgeons during procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist oral surgeons with precision during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to strict protocols.
  • Document patient care meticulously, ensuring accurate and detailed records.
  • Engage in strategic discussions with surgeons, monitoring patient status and handling advanced equipment with finesse.
  • Obtain vital radiographs and craft detailed patient narratives, showcasing your exceptional communication skills.

Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS certification (or completed within 1 month of hire).
  • Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities, demonstrating good judgment and critical thinking.
  • Passion for ensuring safety and exceptional attention to detail, vigilance, and meticulousness.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and superior listening skills, especially in emergency scenarios.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous oral surgery experience is beneficial.
  • DAANCE certification is desirable.
  • Licensed dental assistant status is preferred.
  • Radiology certification is a plus.
