Job Summary

The Night Auditor will be responsible for closing out and rolling the dates in all systems that support hotel operations. This role requires a dual focus on Front Desk Agent and Auditor responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Night Audit: Perform nightly audits of the Point of Sale (POS) and Property Management System (PMS), scrutinizing transactions, making notes for managers, posting room rates, closing and rolling dates, and securing closed hotel areas.
  • Front Desk: Provide exceptional guest service, including resolving guest complaints, check-ins, check-outs, room upgrades and moves, handling maintenance and housekeeping requests, answering and directing phone calls, and retail store sales.
  • Concierge: Enhance the guest experience by informing guests of local activities and dining options, booking reservations as requested, and promoting hotel services.
  • Safety and Security: Monitor and report safety hazards to the Department Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent, with a strong aptitude for math.
  • Experience: Previous hotel front desk and PMS computer experience is a plus.
  • Skills: Basic computer skills, ability to work well with others, detail-oriented, and able to work alone and overnight shifts.

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds.
  • Walking, standing, sitting, carrying, and driving.
