Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Photography Instructor to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As an Adjunct Professor of Photography, you will be responsible for teaching photography courses to students at our institution.

Responsibilities
  • Teach photography courses to students, utilizing technology and various teaching methods to engage and educate students.
  • Maintain accurate attendance and grading records.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a visual arts discipline or a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in photography or a related field.
  • Experience with the use of the latest version of the Adobe Creative Suite programs.
  • Recent relevant industry experience and previous college-level online and traditional teaching experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate experience using studio and location still camera and lighting equipment.
  • Thorough knowledge of traditional film and digital image capture and printing processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in photography or a related field.
  • Experience teaching photography courses at the college level.
