Position Title: Outpatient Rheumatologist
Location: Waycross, GA
Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Outpatient Rheumatologist who will focus on the assessment and management of patients suffering from rheumatic disorders that impact the joints, muscles, and skeletal system. This position emphasizes the delivery of high-quality care in an outpatient environment, working in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to uphold superior patient health standards.
Core Responsibilities:
- Clinical Care: Evaluate and treat a variety of rheumatic ailments, including arthritis, autoimmune disorders, and musculoskeletal issues.
- Care Plans: Formulate individualized treatment approaches that include medication, physical rehabilitation, and lifestyle modifications.
- Patient Guidance: Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families regarding their conditions, available treatments, and preventive strategies.

Required Qualifications:
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure: Active medical license to practice in Georgia.
- Certification: Board certification in Rheumatology is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in an outpatient rheumatology setting is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset towards patient care.
