Clinical Research Professional

The University of Cincinnati's College of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Professional to join our team in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented group of researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to improving the health and clinical care of patients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating clinical research projects, facilitating communication with participants, nurses, physicians, sponsors, and ancillary personnel, and coordinating research visits according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), protocol, and all applicable policies and procedures.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who is passionate about clinical research and has excellent interpersonal skills.
Essential Functions
- Plan and coordinate clinical research projects.
- Facilitate communication with participants, nurses, physicians, sponsors, and ancillary personnel to maintain project study flow.
- Coordinate, schedule, and conduct research visits according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), protocol, and all applicable policies and procedures.
- Participate in the preparation and/or submission of study-related materials, such as case report forms, adverse event reports, regulatory documents, etc.
- Assist in the generation of data for proposals, reports, and manuscripts.
- May serve as a resource person or act as a consultant within area of clinical expertise.
- Perform related duties based on departmental need.
Minimum Requirements
Clinical Research Professional
Required EducationBachelor's Degree must be in a related field.Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.Required ExperienceOne (1) year of related experience.

Senior Clinical Research Professional
Required EducationBachelor's Degree must be in a related field.Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.Required ExperienceThree (3) years of related experience.Additional Qualifications Considered
Experience in an academic or clinical setting in the area of clinical specialization.
