Unit Overview
3 West is a specialized 25-bed Medical unit dedicated to Oncology, Hospice Care, and Stroke management. This unit is unique within MEDSTAR HEALTH as it is the only Med/Surg nursing area where our nursing professionals are qualified to administer Chemotherapy and possess the necessary assessment skills to care for Stroke patients. Our team is composed of a strong multidisciplinary group focused on addressing complex patient care requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide expert nursing care to patients and their families, addressing needs that range from straightforward to highly intricate. You will assess current and potential complex issues within specific patient populations, critically evaluate trends and changes in patient conditions, and implement suitable interventions either directly or through collaboration with other nursing staff.

Required Qualifications

  • ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited Nursing School is mandatory.
  • Previous Clinical Nursing Experience is preferred.
  • Active RN License in MD or an Active Compact State RN License along with Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare providers is required.

This position offers a competitive salary range starting at $54.97.
