We are in search of a dependable and dedicated Canine Care Specialist to provide exceptional pet care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care for one or more dogs in the comfort of the client's residence.
- Offer boarding services for dogs at your own home, subject to a suitable environment assessment.
- Occasionally care for cats, which may reside in the same household as the dogs.
- Feed, walk, and attend to the needs of the pets.
- Engage in playtime and exercise activities with the animals.
- Ensure a clean and healthy living space for the pets.
- Send regular updates to clients through pictures or videos.
- Maintain open communication with the employer during pet care assignments.
- Be available to stay overnight with the pets, with the ability to be away for no more than 4 to 5 hours at a time.
Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience in animal care or related fields is preferred.
- A genuine passion for caring for dogs and cats.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and calmly.
- Access to a reliable vehicle for transportation.
- A functional phone for communication while caring for pets and the client's home.
- Ability to provide references upon request.
