Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for one or more dogs in the comfort of the client's residence.
  • Offer boarding services for dogs at your own home, subject to a suitable environment assessment.
  • Occasionally care for cats, which may reside in the same household as the dogs.
  • Feed, walk, and attend to the needs of the pets.
  • Engage in playtime and exercise activities with the animals.
  • Ensure a clean and healthy living space for the pets.
  • Send regular updates to clients through pictures or videos.
  • Maintain open communication with the employer during pet care assignments.
  • Be available to stay overnight with the pets, with the ability to be away for no more than 4 to 5 hours at a time.

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in animal care or related fields is preferred.
  • A genuine passion for caring for dogs and cats.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and calmly.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle for transportation.
  • A functional phone for communication while caring for pets and the client's home.
  • Ability to provide references upon request.
