Position Overview

The Clinical Research Coordinator A is responsible for assisting in the oversight of various clinical trials within a designated research domain. This role involves coordinating patient screening, subject enrollment, and the collection and management of biological samples and pertinent study documentation, as well as clinical data gathering. The coordinator will also support Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions and queries, and aid in the development of manuscripts, grant applications, and research presentations. Close collaboration with the Principal Investigator, management, and study team is essential to identify challenges and devise effective solutions. The coordinator will implement approved procedural modifications as necessary and monitor the outcomes.

The Clinical Research Coordinator B primarily focuses on facilitating, promoting, and ensuring adherence to good clinical practices across all research protocols within the Department/Center. This role independently manages various phases of intricate clinical trials and provides mentorship to other coordinators and research assistants. Responsibilities include collaboration with partner institutions to develop multi-center budgets and oversee expenditures. Participation in study team meetings, disease site group discussions, and ongoing protocol training/compliance sessions is crucial. The coordinator also supports the monitoring of external sites and assists in the management of multi-site trials.

Qualifications

• CRC A: A Bachelor of Science degree along with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• CRC B: A Bachelor of Science degree with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
