Food Safety Responsibilities:
This position plays a vital role in upholding the company's SQF food safety and quality standards, adhering to food regulations, and continuously seeking improvements in all operational areas.
Safety Commitment:
Participation in the company's safety initiatives is expected, contributing to a secure working environment for all team members.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect and sanitize machinery at the beginning of each shift.
- Conduct taste tests and monitor product temperatures.
- Operate machinery and monitor for any malfunctions.
- Assist in the production of dairy products.
- Maintain accurate records of lot numbers and ingredients.
- Make minor repairs and adjustments to machinery as needed.
- Ensure that all products are packaged according to specifications.
- Feed products into conveyors and unload packaged items.
- Restock packaging materials as necessary.
- Prepare daily production ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Adhere to proper product rotation practices.
- Handle chemicals safely and responsibly.
- Perform data entry tasks as required.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in a hot and humid environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Capability to perform under pressure.
- Dependable and responsible work ethic.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
Job Details:
Temporary position for 6-8 weeks at a rate of $23.55 per hour, depending on experience.
