Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, including greeting and assisting customers, responding to customer inquiries and complaints, and promoting a positive shopping experience.
  • Sales and Operations:
    • Support the store manager in managing sales, inventory, and visual merchandising to drive sales growth and maximize profitability.
    • Supervise sales floor associates, including training, coaching, and performance management.
    • Monitor and maintain a visually appealing store, including housekeeping, visual merchandising, and organization.
  • Human Resources:
    • Support the store manager in recruiting, hiring, and developing store associates.
    • Administer payroll, benefits, and other HR-related tasks.
  • Financial Management:
    • Manage cash handling, reporting, and other financial activities in accordance with company policies.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, loss prevention policies, and operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of retail or sales management experience preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions:

This role requires regular attendance, standing, and maneuvering on the sales floor and stockroom. The ability to lift and carry 30 pounds, hand/fold merchandise, climb, reach, push/pull, and communicate with customers is also required.
