Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Hi-Lo truck safely and efficiently.
  • Utilize quick math skills to ensure accuracy in blending processes.
  • Access computerized systems to identify specific trail mix combinations and calculate daily production totals.
  • Conduct product testing to verify compliance with quality standards.
  • Support sustainability initiatives by managing ingredient requirements and monitoring temperature controls to minimize waste.
  • Maintain accurate tracking logs for inventory, quality assessments, order schedules, and waste management.
  • Document variations in inventory, including fresh, raw, roasted, and melted products to ensure proper blending.
  • Follow established blending plans to guarantee product consistency.
  • Comply with FDA, SQF (Quality & Food Safety), and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Keep work areas clean and safe.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to operate a Hi-Lo truck, both standing and sitting.
  • Basic math and computer skills are essential.
  • Proficient in reading and writing in English.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
  • Capable of walking up and down stairs.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as provided by the company.

Work Environment:

This position involves working near moving mechanical parts, and the noise level in the environment can be elevated.

Compensation:

The starting pay rate is $16.50 per hour with an additional $1.00 shift premium for midnight shifts.
