Employees within correctional facilities engage in correctional duties irrespective of their specific roles.

Responsibilities of a Healthcare Provider

The Healthcare Provider collaborates with the supervising physician(s) and consulting physician(s) to develop, implement, assess, and modify healthcare plans; assists in identifying conditions, resources, and policies crucial for delivering health services.

Acts as the primary provider for routine evaluations of new complaints, ongoing visits for chronic conditions, and emergencies when clinically warranted.

Establishes diagnostic impressions and requests relevant diagnostic tests (e.g., laboratory tests, x-rays, visual acuity tests, and electrocardiograms) while possessing the ability to interpret results and selected laboratory findings, including Clinical Laboratory, Radiology, Optometry, Electrocardiograph Operations, Dental, and Mental Health.

Evaluates the comprehensive healthcare needs of patients and formulates plans to address these needs.
