Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Largo, Maryland.

Job Summary:

As an Operating Room Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. Your duties will include preparing the operating room, assisting with surgical tools and equipment, maintaining sterile conditions, and transporting patients to and from surgery.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of the operating room, including setup and organization of equipment and supplies
  • Assistance with surgical tools and equipment, including scrubbing in and out of the operating room
  • Maintenance of sterile conditions throughout the operating room
  • Transportation of patients to and from surgery
  • Assistance with post-operative care and recovery
Requirements:
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • Trauma Experience preferred, but not required
  • Travel experience preferred, but not required
