Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at ATS - Industrial Maintenance. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery, including adjusting functional parts, repairing or replacing defective parts, and repairing machine tools.
  • Provide support and backup for other members of the department as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
  • Complete on-the-job training for career development.
  • Update records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement (CI) activities, including process improvements, results, and cost savings.
  • Follow all safety-related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines, and identify unsafe behaviors and conditions.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems.
Working Conditions

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb, ascend/descend or balance to heights that may require a ladder or lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to use close vision and color vision. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. Work is typically performed in a factory environment and is usually very loud. In the factory environment, the employee may be exposed to hazardous materials and/or greasy or slippery factory floors.

Salary: $21 - $24 / hr
