Job Overview

The General Manager is the key figure in the successful operation and growth of a Dairy Queen location. As the ultimate leader, you are responsible for ensuring the restaurant operates according to established policies, procedures, standards, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.

This leadership role involves maximizing sales and profitability through the execution of systems and processes that result in superior quality, service, and cleanliness. You will lead a team of Smile Servers in delivering the Dairy Queen brand experience to our fans.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of previous experience as a restaurant general manager or similar food service leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing profit & loss (P&L), inventory, labor, and scheduling.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Succesful completion of a background check and possession of a Food Handler's Permit and/or ServSafe Certification (where required).
  • Flexible availability based on business demands, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
