About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Associate Scheduler to join our team at National Grid USA. As an Associate Scheduler, you will play a critical role in coordinating scheduling availability and resources for our internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize Excel and other scheduling programs to manage high-volume scheduling tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to regulatory and bargaining agreement rules and implement changes to Resource Management practices as needed.
  • Adjust and maintain schedules to ensure accurate assignment of work and response to emergencies.
  • Run reports for internal stakeholders to ensure proper staffing levels and accurate time coding for workers.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to drive consistency, share best practices, and plan resources effectively to deliver on projects.
  • Identify and communicate process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Graduated between May 2024 and June 2025.
  • Ability to begin the National Grid Graduate Program on June 2, 2025 or July 7, 2025.
  • Valid driver's license required with a safe driving history that meets National Grid's Safe Driver policy.
  • Work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with Salesforce software.
  • Previous experience with WorkForce software.
