Key Responsibilities:
* The Floor Maintenance Specialist is tasked with cleaning and maintaining both carpet and hard surface floors, which includes stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing, and spot cleaning.
* Adhere to safety protocols in all work areas.
* Assist the Building/Account Lead with special projects, which may include setups, breakdowns, and move in/move outs.
* Must be adaptable and willing to undertake all assigned tasks.
Specific Duties:
- Maintain building floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage to floors and fixtures.
- Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors.
- Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including applying spot cleaning treatments.
- Operates vehicles (if required) to perform or travel to cleaning tasks, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 6 months of relevant experience.
- Experience with floor scrubbers.
