Job Overview

Jettison is seeking a skilled Digital Finishing Operator to join their team at their Mukilteo location. The ideal candidate will have experience in the print industry and machine operation, with a focus on setup and operation of commercial label inspector machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate label inspector machines to ensure visual quality control
  • Operate equipment to add finishing touches to printed labels, including foil and embossing
  • Slit continuous lengths of printed material into strips of specified width
  • Inspect products to ensure quality integrity and package products
  • Assist in cutting, collating, wrapping, and packaging of converting jobs
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines
  • Remove or replace blades on inspection machines
  • Complete paperwork for each job and package finished goods for shipment to customer
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or printing/packaging industry
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Ability to read and interpret ruler, scales, and other measurement devices
