LPN - Neurology Clinic - Mount Nittany Health - Full-Time

As a Medical Assistant or LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in our Neurology Clinic. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing patients for examination, administering medications, and assisting the provider with procedures and tests.
You will be an integral part of the healthcare team, engaging patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of patient care. Your knowledge of medical practice and patient care, medical equipment, and examination procedures will be essential in delivering high-quality care.
Requirements:- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing
- One year of medical office and patient care experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical practice and patient care, medical equipment, and examination procedures
- Knowledge of physician office procedures and medical terminology
- Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions
- Ability to assist in performing a variety of treatments and procedures, taking vital signs, and recording and maintaining test results
- Ability to record data accurately using a computer
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Pennsylvania Practical Nursing License
- BLS certification required
Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
