Construction and Maintenance Professional

As a Construction and Maintenance Professional, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our clients to install various material handling systems, including shelves, racks, conveyors, and mezzanines. Your expertise and attention to detail will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goal of providing exceptional service to our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install various material handling systems, including shelves, racks, conveyors, and mezzanines
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and pallet jacks
- Utilize and maintain equipment, tools, assets, and supplies to support project execution
- Inventory and stage materials as required by assignment
- Setup and use software and hardware as required by assignment
- Perform fastening and anchoring to various surfaces and substrates to meet project specifications and requirements
- Take and apply accurate measurements
- Perform volume installation and assembly of shelves, racks, conveyors, mezzanines, safety barriers, guard rails, caster decking, and other types of material handling systems
- Perform component assembly accurately and efficiently per specifications
- Apply 5S tape, stickers, and labels per assignment specifications and needs
Requirements:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old
- Must have experience or competency of basic construction and assembly and associated tools and techniques
- Must have knowledge of hardware, low voltage wiring, and mechanical components (as required for specific scopes)
- Must have valid I.D. permitting travel
- Must have valid driver's license when assigned to positions requiring driving
- Must have and be able to use personal communication device for business communication responsibilities
- Possess DOT card or the ability to obtain one when assigned to positions requiring DOT certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn and use basic computer software applications
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and procedures
- Exercise good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to remain composed and professional during stressful situations
- Willingness to work in a variety of inclement and construction environments
- Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
