Sinclair Broadcast Group is seeking a skilled Sports Content Producer to join our team. As a key member of our podcasting unit, you will be responsible for the development, production, and growth of new and ongoing sports podcasts across multiple digital and linear channels.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team to create engaging content that resonates with audiences. You will lead the day-to-day production for various sports podcasts, overseeing all aspects of content development, editing, publishing, promotion, and monetization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to promote podcasts across social media platforms and other digital channels
  • Manage the show production process, including scheduling, guest outreach, and coordination
  • Prepare detailed rundowns, guest research, sound bites, images, and video clips
  • Provide editing support for episodes and podcast clips in audio and/or video formats
  • Leverage internal and external resources to drive audience growth across all channels
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in podcasting, social media, digital video, or similar fields
  • Proven experience in content development and audio/video editing
  • A strong understanding of podcast production and post-production processes
  • Familiarity with executing sales integrations, including ad reads and sponsored content
  • Passion for sports and knowledge of current and historical information across various teams and leagues
What We Offer

At Sinclair Broadcast Group, we offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.
