Job Summary:

ICONMA is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join their team in Kingwood, TX. As a Phlebotomist II, you will play a vital role in representing the company to patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence, and ensuring the accuracy and safety of blood sample collection.

Responsibilities:

  • Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
  • Have direct contact with patients, explaining procedures and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
  • Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time, maintaining a safe and professional environment.
  • Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
  • Maintain required records and documentation, demonstrating organizational commitment and promoting a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred.
  • 3 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
  • Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
