About the Role

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Arizona. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our mobile equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a culture of safety throughout the operation, adhering to MSHA and Vulcan standards.
  • Repair and maintain mobile equipment to maximize performance and minimize downtime.
  • Inspect equipment and materials to identify and troubleshoot errors, performing repairs as necessary.
  • Handle and move objects safely throughout the shop and plant.
  • Document and record information accurately, including service reports for mobile equipment.
  • Assist in driving heavy equipment and vehicles when necessary to ensure production efficiency.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working on diesel or heavy construction equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of general principles and practices of servicing heavy construction equipment is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and extended hours, as well as tolerate exposure to loud noises and varying weather conditions.
  • Mechanical skills, including knowledge of industrial tools and their maintenance.
