Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care.

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information and ensuring accurate medication dispensing.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication lists and allergy information.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on pharmacy practices and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) or registration (RPhT) preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Basic math skills and accuracy in counting and measuring medications.
