As a Senior Corporate Underwriter within PNC's Regional Credit Products Group, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and credit portfolios.
Your focus will be on Corporate Finance and Middle Market clients with credit exposure ranging from 10 to 100 million and beyond.
- Experience with syndication transactions is advantageous.
- Familiarity with debt capital markets is beneficial.
- Experience in complex multi-bank loan structuring is a plus.
Operate independently with minimal oversight. Exercise elevated approval authority.
Prepare loan proposals for various transaction complexities or manage assigned portfolios.
Engage with internal and external clients.Act as a subject matter expert for specific asset classes and may lead special projects or assignments.
Utilize independent judgment to identify risks and mitigants, preparing offerings and/or scorecards, such as risk ratings, by analyzing credit, collateral strength, and financial viability of loan or transaction parties.
Communicate with internal and external clients and other relevant parties to gather information and clarify any inconsistencies or missing data. Perform necessary pre-approval and post-approval activities.
Identify and confirm all external regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures.
Make recommendations on credit decisions or directly make credit decisions as appropriate.
Roles at this level typically require a university/college degree, along with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
