We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to take on a leadership role as a Technician Supervisor at VCA Animal Hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of veterinary technicians in providing high-quality patient care
- Developing and implementing effective workflow processes to improve efficiency and productivity
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
- Collaborating with veterinarians and other hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Managing and maintaining accurate records and reports
To be considered for this role, candidates must:
- Hold a current veterinary technician license in the state of Hawaii or be eligible to obtain one
- Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in veterinary nursing, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role
- Possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Be proficient in veterinary emergency and critical care nursing, as well as organizational and problem-solving skills
This position offers a competitive salary of $28.00 per hour, dependent on experience, education, and certification. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid vacation/sick days, 401(k), pet care discounts, and relocation assistance up to $5000.
