Job Summary

The Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our Maintenance and Operations team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of all district HVAC refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports Chilled and Hot Water Systems
  • Maintains and Operates HVAC Systems
  • Replaces A/C Units as Needed
  • Reports Equipment Deviations and Chemical Needs
  • Completes Work Orders and Submits to Office Staff
  • Performs Duties in a Safe Manner
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or GED Required
  • Associates Degree in HVAC Preferred
  • Three Years Experience in HVAC
  • Experience in Chill Water Systems and Controls Preferred
  • Refrigerant Recovery Certification
  • Able to Read Blueprints and Schematics
  • Valid Driver's License and Insurability Required
