Job Title: Registered Dietitian

Community Health Care, Inc. is seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at the River Drive Davenport Clinic. As a key member of our WIC Program, you will play a vital role in providing nutrition assessments, developing personalized nutrition plans, and educating families on healthy eating habits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Counsel and educate clients on healthy eating strategies and therapeutic diets
  • Provide nutrition education and counseling in group or one-on-one settings
  • Tailor food packages to meet individual dietary needs
  • Develop lesson plans and educational materials for nutrition classes
  • Promote and support breastfeeding, referring participants to peer counselor programs
  • Assist in writing nutrition education and breastfeeding action plans for grant applications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Food & Nutrition, Dietetics, Community Nutrition, or related field
  • Completion of a dietetic internship
  • Registered Dietitian licensure
