Job Title: Vice President, Strategic Facilitation

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Vice President, Strategic Facilitation to join our Strategic Facilitation Services team at National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing executive-level facilitation services to our member cooperatives across the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate strategic planning, enterprise risk management, and Commitment to Excellence training sessions for electric cooperative boards of directors and executive leadership teams.
  • Develop strategies and materials to enhance the strategic services provided to our membership, focusing on their success in an evolving industry.
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight for the development and implementation of member-facing financial models, tools, and financial analyses.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years' experience in a leadership position within an electric cooperative or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's of Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
  • Successful completion of multiple board and senior staff facilitations.
  • Exceptional strategic facilitation skills, with a broad and proven understanding of strategic and operational functions of the electric distribution, generation, and transmission industries.
  • Thorough understanding of the governance and operations of an electric cooperative, as well as the complexities of electric cooperative financial statements and accounting requirements.
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to educate and train both small and large groups of electric cooperative senior leaders.
