Key Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to employment policies, guaranteeing that all guidelines are current, effectively communicated, and enforced, while assisting management in upholding employee standards.
Serve as the primary recruiter for designated sectors, which includes managing the applicant tracking system, sourcing and evaluating candidates, and overseeing the interview process.
Oversee employment offers, pre-employment requirements, onboarding, and orientation initiatives.Possess comprehensive HR knowledge necessary for implementing and managing human resource programs in collaboration with the HR team, covering areas such as: compensation, payroll, benefits, retirement plans, grievance handling, disciplinary actions, dispute resolution, performance management, organizational change, employee recognition, workplace safety, and professional development.
Address employment-related inquiries from candidates, employees, and supervisors, directing complex or sensitive issues to the appropriate personnel.Develop and maintain job descriptions in partnership with departmental leadership, including compensation assessments and performance development throughout the employment lifecycle.
Formulate and uphold Memorandums of Understanding while providing support and consultation on labor relations and collective bargaining agreements.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, along with best practices; regularly review policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
Act as Project Manager for HR initiatives such as automation projects, process enhancements, HRIS implementation, performance management, and other identified business needs to ensure efficient HR operations.
Stay informed about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Contribute to corporate and departmental initiatives, including wellness programs and diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.Adhere to safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment as required. Participate in safety training or skills enhancement as mandated by supervisors or regulatory agencies.
Demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance.
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
