As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with Highmark Health, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in the surgical setting. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement anesthetic management for patients undergoing surgery.
• Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient care in medical records.
• Continuously monitor patients under anesthesia and take corrective action as needed.
• Collaborate with attending physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
• Current PA RN license.
• Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
• CPR American Heart Association certification.
• Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a CRNA.
