Primary Care Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician Assistant to join our team at Expedite Urgent Care.
ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Patient Care: Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses, perform physical examinations, interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans.
- Health Promotion: Focus on health promotion and disease prevention, educate patients on managing their health conditions and preventive care.
- Collaboration: Work independently or as part of a healthcare team, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate and current patient records, manage follow-up appointments and patient referrals.
- Emergency Care: Provide urgent care services, including minor surgical procedures and wound care, handle medical emergencies and stabilize patients as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
- Licensure: Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Experience: Experience in urgent care, family practice, or emergency medicine is preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a dynamic work environment that values teamwork and professional growth.
Our urgent care centers are typically open 7 days a week, and you may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate patient needs.
