Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Mercy Health. As a RN in our ICU, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide wound care as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, lab results, and other data to inform care decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
  • Successful completion of general and unit-specific orientation and hospital probationary period.
  • 12 contact hours of continuing education annually, including Fire Safety and BLS/CPR recertification.
