Job Description

This position ensures the maintaining and development of local Quality Management according to ISO 9001 and other regulations/codes. It also involves steering Quality Assurance in the site under consideration of laws, regulations, standards, and state-of-the-art technology.

Responsibilities
  • We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to plan quality measures to ensure products meet specifications. The ideal candidate will support the implementation of measures to prevent mistakes, not just correct them, and measure/document all quality measures.
  • The successful candidate will optimize administrative processes within the department, ensuring efficient operations.
  • This role involves planning and optimizing testing work steps in Incoming Inspection, during Production, and in Final Inspection regarding product quality, testing results, and testing efforts (scope and frequency of testing, number of measuring points).
  • The Quality Assurance Specialist will support shop foremen, workers, and design engineers in quality topics, ensuring everyone is aligned with our quality goals.
  • The successful candidate will support decisions on non-conforming materials and products in close cooperation with the Quality Manager and Production Manager.
  • This role involves preparing, structuring, and analyzing material and product-related data from ongoing production to reduce quality problems. The goal is to observe and reduce scrap and rework/extra work, aiming for continuous improvement of product quality and reduction of Costs of Poor Quality (COPQ) in close cooperation with the Quality Manager/Production Manager.
  • The Quality Assurance Specialist will support the calculation and reporting of COPQ, quality issues, complaints, audit measures, improvements, and other quality-related topics monthly in close cooperation with the Quality Manager/Production Manager.
  • This role involves supporting customer and supplier complaints regarding quality, packaging, and transport issues by coordinating all actions until closing.
  • The successful candidate will support aligning testing/quality activities and their execution with customers and suppliers, as well as preparing Quality Assurance and Quality Management Agreements with customers and suppliers.
  • This role involves supporting the maintenance and development of local Quality Assurance in close collaboration with the Quality Manager.
  • The Quality Assurance Specialist reports functionally to the Quality Manager.
  • This role involves supporting planning, preparation, and execution of internal and external System and Process Audits as well as Supplier Audits; supporting planning, preparation, and attending external audits from customers and Notified Bodies (as needed); following up on audit measures and verifying their effectiveness.
  • The successful candidate will support planning, executing, and following up approvals of new suppliers (Supplier Capability Analysis).
  • This role involves being the local contact person and coordinator for controlling quality documents, administering local controlled documents and records in close cooperation with the Quality Manager.
Qualifications
  • We require an Engineering Degree (e.g., Chem Eng, Mech Eng, Industrial Eng)
  • A minimum of 0-2 years of experience in Quality Control is preferred
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, Quality, and Testing Methods is necessary
