We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Actalent. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of prescription medications for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Prescription Fulfillment: High-volume fulfillment of prescription cards, ensuring accuracy and productivity standards are met.
- Medication Preparation: Fills prescription items, packages medications for dispensing and delivery, and prepares medications including emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments.
- Inventory Management: Participates in the periodic inventory of the pharmacy, checks in drugs and supplies, stocks shelves, and removes out-of-date items from the inventory.
- Customer Service: Communicates with internal and external customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Training and Development: Assists in the training of new employees and performs other tasks as assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Licensure: Utah Pharmacy Technician License (open to Pharmacy Technician Trainee)
- Experience: 6+ months of retail and/or fulfillment pharmacy experience
- Skills: Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, team player, effective oral and written communication
