Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house team on a per diem basis. As a PRN SLP, you will provide speech and language therapy services to our residents, helping them achieve their goals and improve their independence and functioning.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate residents' conditions for swallowing or cognitive deficits and develop individualized treatment plans to address these needs.
- Provide skilled, medically necessary speech and language therapy assessments and implement treatment plans to increase clients' independence and functioning.
- Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate diagnostic swallowing procedures and provide training and education to clients, family, caregivers, and other professionals.
- Communicate changes in residents' conditions and provide accurate and timely billing records and supporting clinical documentation.
- Respond to family requests and concerns in a timely manner and coordinate training with Restorative Nursing and other Care staff.
- Active/Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certification
- In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
- In-house Rehab (non-contracted)
