Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our Interventional Radiology team at UnityPoint Health. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Excellence/Patient Care
    • Perform quality diagnostic procedures, including general, surgical, portable, and tomography imaging.
    • Provide and use radiation protection devices and techniques in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
    • Display working knowledge of job requirements and maintain proficiency in CT imaging.
  • Administrative and Customer Support
    • Correctly document required information in the computerized information system (RIS).
    • Exams are completed in a timely fashion, and records are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
    • Display a team attitude in assisting secretarial staff.
  • Qualifications
    • Holds Permit-to-Practice radiology in the state of Iowa.
    • Certified and holds current registration with the A.R.R.T. as a Radiologic Technologist and in CT.
Requirements
  • Ability to assist IR Radiologist with interventional procedures.
  • Knowledge of proper post-processing technique to achieve high-optimize images.
  • Ability to assist Interventional Radiologist with vascular and Neuro-Endovascular procedures.
  • Demonstrates critical care skills to patients with higher acuity (ED, ICU, or OR).
  • Advanced technical skills required to operate high-risk interventional equipment specifically for Neuro-Endovascular procedures.
