Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Premier Health Partners. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing Nuclear Medicine procedures, utilizing proper techniques and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures of diagnostic and therapeutic quality as ordered by the referring physician and/or radiologist on patients of all ages according to established protocols.
  • Obtain clinical history and data for correlation with the Nuclear Medicine procedure.
  • Implement screening and safety measures in accordance with prescribed Nuclear Medicine safety standards.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to the patient according to policy.
  • Assist Radiologist in special procedures and in performing medical treatment during emergency situations.
  • Coordinate patient care with other areas in order to optimize patient time and satisfaction.
  • Assess learning needs and educate patients/families regarding procedures based on individual needs.
  • Ensure that all records, files and reports are properly recorded as required.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
  • CPR Certification required.
  • Nuclear Medicine registry required.
  • ODH licensure required.
  • ARRT RT (R) registry required and/or NMTCB.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year experience in specialized field of Nuclear Medicine.
  • Knowledge in anatomy and physiology.
  • Knowledge of Ohio Department of Health rules & regulations.
  • Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Proficient in Radiology Information System (RIS) and Image Storage.
