We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Fairfax Behavioral Health, a private, free-standing mental health hospital. As a Cook, you will play a critical role in preparing evening meals for patients and facility staff in accordance with approved menu cycles and production sheets.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare meals for patients and staff in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Order and receive food supplies, and properly store them
- Document food production records, including temperature checks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of experience in quantity cooking
- Basic knowledge of modified diets
- Training in food service sanitation and certification
- Experience with industrial kitchen equipment and utensils
