At Brookhaven Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for organizing and conducting physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation and promote independence and productivity in our residents.
Responsibilities:
* Evaluate residents and develop appropriate treatment goals and methods
* Implement physical therapy treatment plans and complete related documentation and record keeping
* Design and fit adaptive devices and train residents in their use
* Consult with other members of the rehabilitation team to select the most appropriate therapeutic regimen
* Instruct residents in skills and techniques required for participation in mobility activities and evaluate client progress
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
* Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
* Experience working with geriatric population preferred
