About the Job

We are seeking a Process Automation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing software updates and computer system validation activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with quality assurance teams.

About You
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field and at least 2 years of experience with automation systems, including Rockwell and/or Siemens Programmable Logic Controllers, Metasys Building Management System (BMS), and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
  • You possess strong technical knowledge and work experience with Warehouse Management Systems, Goods to Person Systems, ASRS Control Systems, Automated Guided Vehicles, and Palletizing Robots.
  • You have excellent communication skills and can effectively collaborate with IT, Management, Operations, Maintenance, Quality, HSE, and outside regulatory inspectors.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Learns, understands, troubleshoots, and modifies process automation for vertical lift machines, automated storage and retrieval systems, conveyor controls, package sorting systems, building management system, and access control software.
  2. Manages software updates and computer system validation activities.
  3. Ensures regulatory compliance by partnering with Quality Assurance to assure that all automation systems meet corporate standards.
  4. Manages process automation and process engineering aspects of capital projects.

Additional Information

This role requires occasional travel to Enfield, CT and occasional off-hours support for equipment operating 24/7. A cell phone will be provided for business use. The estimated salary for this position is $86,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on education, experience, and location. The compensation package may vary based on individual performance and company guidelines.
