Job Title: IR Technologist

We are seeking a skilled IR Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an IR Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Assist in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormal activity
  • Demonstrate knowledge of radiation protection standards and techniques
  • Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in acute care
  • BLS, ACLS, and AART National certifications
  • Certificate of Vascular-Interventional Radiology (VI) or Cardiac-interventional Radiology (CI)
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
