As a School Bus Driver with First Student, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe transportation of students and passengers. Our team of transportation professionals takes pride in providing exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition
- Provide support to students by assisting with boarding and exiting the bus
- Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements
- Ability to pass a background check and DOT physical examination
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
