Position Overview

As a vital member of our Nursing Team, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in delivering personalized care to our residents. We recognize the importance of CNAs and their contributions to the overall health and well-being of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with essential personal hygiene and daily living activities tailored to their individual needs.
  • Provide comprehensive care that addresses the social, emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical aspects of each resident.
  • Maintain daily hygiene routines for residents, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Learn and adapt to residents' preferences to enhance the quality of care provided.
  • Document care accurately and report any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel promptly.
  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and risk management protocols.
  • Regularly communicate with supervisors regarding residents' conditions and any changes observed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 to 6 months of experience in long-term care preferred.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are essential.

Working Conditions

This position involves medium to heavy physical activity, including:

  • Lifting, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 100 pounds occasionally and over 45 pounds repeatedly.
  • Constant standing and walking, with occasional sitting, kneeling, squatting, and reaching.
  • Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids, and communicable diseases.
  • Frequent interactions with residents, family members, and visitors.
