Position SummaryCompensation: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: Monday – Friday; 6am to 2:30pm
- 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday; 2:00pm - 10:30pm
- Set up and operate various machining processes as specified by job instructions, including deburring, assembly, sawing, cutoff, and packaging.
- Maintain a safe working environment by promptly reporting any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions.
- Initiate machine operations and monitor performance displays to identify any operational issues.
- Document and determine machine setups for each component as necessary.
- Stop machines to change cutting tools and adjust setups in accordance with machining sequences or to verify parts against blueprint specifications.
- Make necessary edits and adjustments to ensure parts are produced according to work orders, blueprints, and sketches.
- Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, and sketches effectively.
- Inspect work for dimensional accuracy and ensure production meets quality and quantity standards as per company guidelines.
- Complete all required paperwork related to counts, scrap, and time accurately, in compliance with company policies.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in new setups.
- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Preferred experience in manual machining.
