Responsibilities- Provide skilled therapy services to patients in accordance with physician's orders and accepted professional practices.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current licensure/certification as a COTA in the state of Kansas.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Experience working in a geriatric rehabilitation setting.
