AtWork Group is seeking an experienced Sheetmetal Mechanic to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Sheetmetal Mechanic at AtWork Group, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills in sheet metal fabrication, installation, and repair. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal to specifications
• Measuring, cutting, fabricating, assembling, connecting, and installing sheet metal duct work
• Using hand tools such as screwdrivers, air hammers, power drills, etc.
• Working from ladders, scaffolds, scissor lifts, etc.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and other architectural or structural drawings accurately
• Installing, altering, and repairing sheet metal products
• Measuring, bending, and shaping sheet metal for application
• Assembling hoods and sheet metal HVAC systems and components
• Proficiently hanging duct and securing vent caps
• Performing operational checks of ducts and other sheet metal assemblies and installations
• Demonstrating proper and safe use of tools and related equipment
• Maintaining site safety procedures and policies
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Working and communicating effectively individually as well as in a team environment

Requirements:

To be successful as a Sheetmetal Mechanic at AtWork Group, you will need:

• A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in sheet metal work, fabricating, and installing duct work
• Consistent punctuality and reliability
• Proper PPE including hard hat, work boots, work gloves, safety glasses, and safety vest
