Job Summary:

We are looking for a Sr. Physical Therapist to conduct evaluations and assessments of patients' physical condition, pain levels, and medical history to develop individualized treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or Foreign Equivalent in Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy and six (6) months experience as Sr. Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical condition, pain levels, and medical history to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer physical therapy procedures to reduce pain, improve mobility, and strength, including therapeutic exercises and activities, manual therapy, and modalities for pain management.
  • Provide education and information to patients and their families about their conditions, available treatments, and self-care techniques to promote long-term health and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in EMR software, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Occupational Therapists to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain licensure and stay current with professional best practices.
Requirements:
  • NY State Physical Therapist License
  • Minimum 6 months experience as Sr. Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist
  • Bachelor's degree or Foreign Equivalent in Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy
Work Schedule:

38 hours/week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9:00am - 7:00pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9:00am - 1:00pm, Saturday and Sunday: off
