Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at K.A. Recruiting, Inc. in a permanent, full-time position. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our high complexity laboratory, ensuring compliance with CLIA regulations and maintaining a high level of quality in our testing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage laboratory staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of laboratory results into patient care.
  • Develop and manage laboratory budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a biological science, chemistry, physical, or medical laboratory science, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of laboratory experience and training in a high complexity laboratory, including all areas to be supervised.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Meet the requirements of a national registry of ASCP (MT) or nationally recognized equivalent.
