Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Front End Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of highly scalable software solutions for our high transaction commerce stack. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our team to identify user and system requirements for new websites and applications
- Work closely with other developers, quality technicians, business analysts, product owners & UX/UI designers to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Design and develop responsive web designs using bootstrap or similar framework
- Integrate with web service layers and CMS to enable high availability and flexibility with deployments
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade the front-end software stack
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and scalability
- Write technical documentation
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, User Experience or a relevant field
- Proven experience (6+ years) as a Front End Developer or similar
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSON, XSLT, XML & jQuery)
- Experience writing single page applications using ReactJS, NextJS frameworks and RESTful web services
- Experience with Agile methodology, CI/CD and dev-ops pipelines such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure DevOps pipelines (Azure preferred)
- Experience with source control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, GitHub
- Experience with deploying to cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) a big plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Great attention to detail & organizational skills with an analytical mind
